A skilled and accomplished industry veteran, NERR’S principal Robert Platner, has served in senior executive management and ownership positions over several years. Versed in the restaurant, catering and venue management segments of the hospitality industry, he has come to have a deep understanding of how to develop great concepts and run high performing operations. 

Known for his energy and enthusiasm, Robert brings a unique sense of creativity, fun and accountability to the projects he’s involved with. His ability to understand and communicate an organizations goals and objectives translate into results. His innovative approach and hands on style is known to solidify relationships, improve operations and grow profitability. 

Robert is a classically trained Chef with deep experience in management and a keen belief in hospitality that crosses all platforms, styles and business types. His love of the business drives his desire to stay on top of current trends in the business, food and beverage and process. With those tools Robert has assembled teams that can take credit for launch and turnaround in the service, quality and profitability of many unique and high profile venues in New England.
